Precise Real‐Time Path and Endpoint Prediction of Pedestrian Trajectories Using Deep CoordConv Autoencoder Network

open access: yesIET Intelligent Transport Systems, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
The pretrained trajectory prediction model integrates an autoencoder with CoordConv to enhance coordinate features and employs a trajectory encoder, endpoint decoder and future trajectory decoder. It addresses the multi‐modality challenge by predicting possible endpoints and generating trajectories accordingly. ABSTRACT Pedestrian trajectory prediction

Fusing Temporal‐Spectral Features for Interactive Vehicle Trajectory Prediction at Signalised Intersections

open access: yesIET Intelligent Transport Systems, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This paper proposes a hierarchical GAN model for vehicle trajectory prediction at signalised intersections. The model innovatively fuses temporal and spectral trajectory features while explicitly modelling interactions using a multi‐factor attention pooling mechanism that incorporates relative position, velocity and vehicle type.

On Detection of Observation Faults in the Observation and Position Domains for Positioning of Intelligent Transport Systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Intelligent transportation systems (ITS) depend on global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) as a major positioning sensor, where the sensor should be able to detect and exclude faulty observations to support its reliability.

Enhancing Safety‐Integrity of Localization Systems in Lane‐Keeping Scenarios Using a Self‐Supervised Spatial Temporal Deep Network

open access: yesIET Intelligent Transport Systems, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
Accurate and reliable real‐time localization for lane‐keeping underpins safe navigation in autonomous vehicles; however, these systems are frequently exposed to sensor faults induced by environmental disturbances, which can result in critical integrity failures.

Filter-Type Fault Detection and Exclusion on Multi-Frequency GNSS Receiver

open access: yes, 2007

Performance Evaluation of Fault Detection Algorithms as Applied to Automotive Localisation

open access: yes, 2008
A very important parameter to measure the quality of localisation systems is integrity in Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). Within this perspective, Integrity first considers the removal of outliers at the receiver level.
