This paper introduces a parametric approach for solving the problem of eigenstructure assignment via state-derivative feedback for linear control time-invariant systems. This problem is always solvable for any controllable systems if the open-loop system

The impact of delay on second-order evolution equations
This article aims to exhibit new instability results on the effects of arbitrary delay on a class of second-order evolution equations involving in a Hilbert space.

Inspired by the cyber-physical systems (CPS) of numerical methods for stochastic differential equations, we present a CPS model of sampled-data control systems (typically a synonym for computer control systems), which regards the intersection of the ...

Predictor-Feedback Stabilization of Multi-Input Nonlinear Systems
We develop a predictor-feedback control design for multi-input nonlinear systems with distinct input delays, of arbitrary length, in each individual input channel.

ERRFI1, a neural crest (NC)‐associated gene, was upregulated in melanoma and negatively correlated with the expression of melanocytic differentiation markers and the susceptibility of melanoma cells toward BRAF inhibitors (BRAFi). Knocking down ERRFI1 significantly increased the sensitivity of melanoma cells to BRAFi.

Models and Feedback Stabilization of Open Quantum Systems [PDF]
At the quantum level, feedback-loops have to take into account measurement back-action. We present here the structure of the Markovian models including such back-action and sketch two stabilization methods: measurement-based feedback where an open ...

Feedback control of spin systems
The feedback stabilization problem for ensembles of coupled spin 1/2 systems is discussed from a control theoretic perspective. The noninvasive nature of the bulk measurement allows for a fully unitary and deterministic closed loop.

CDK11 inhibition stabilises the tumour suppressor p53 and triggers the production of an alternative p21WAF1 splice variant p21L, through the inactivation of the spliceosomal protein SF3B1. Unlike the canonical p21WAF1 protein, p21L is localised in the cytoplasm and has reduced cell cycle‐blocking activity.

A Direct Algorithm for Pole Placement by State-derivative Feedback for Single-input Linear Systems
This paper deals with the direct solution of the pole placement problem for single-input linear systems using state-derivative feedback. This pole placement problem is always solvable for any controllable systems if all eigenvalues of the original system
