ABSTRACT The FGFR2 gene, encoding the FGFR2 protein, plays a crucial role in embryonic cell development, particularly in bone tissue. Bent Bone Dysplasia (BBD), FGFR2‐related (MIM# 614592), is a rare severe skeletal dysplasia characterized by craniofacial differences, reduced bone mineral density, and bowed long bones.

BMI and Breast Subcutaneous Fat
Objectives Obesity is closely associated with the occurrence and progression of breast cancer. While body mass index (BMI) is widely used to diagnose obesity, it has certain limitations. Subcutaneous fat thickness (SFT) also serves as an indicator of body composition. However, studies on breast SFT are scarce.

Molecular Landscape in Limb Anomalies: Diagnostic Yield and New Candidate Genes
In 132 individuals with limb anomalies, diagnostic yield was 36% (47/132), including 25 novel variants, three cases with new phenotypes, and two candidate loci, HOXA11 and a small 2q31.1 deletion. Mouse data and exome‐wide analysis, key in identifying the candidate loci, represent an important opportunity for gene discovery.

The role of cytokines in ovarian cancer drug resistance
Abstract Ovarian cancer is the leading cause of death among women diagnosed with female reproductive system cancers. While significant advances have been made in treating various types of cancer, progress in ovarian cancer treatment over the past 20 years has been minimal, and the treatment course of ovarian cancer is not linear. Although many patients

Identification of potent biparatopic antibodies targeting FGFR2 fusion–driven cholangiocarcinoma
Translocations involving FGFR2 gene fusions are common in cholangiocarcinoma and predict response to FGFR kinase inhibitors. However, response rates and durability are limited due to the emergence of resistance, typically involving FGFR2 kinase domain ...

ABSTRACT Objective To characterize the metacarpophalangeal pattern profile (MCPP) of healthy children and adolescents from São Paulo, Brazil, and to establish percentile curves by chronological age (CA), bone age (BA), and sex using the LMS method. Additionally, to compare these findings with previous population‐based data and to apply the derived ...

The BRAF25 meta‐signature effectively captures BRAF‐driven oncogenic activity. By enabling precise patient stratification with distinct mutation profiles, BRAF25 identifies BRAF‐active tumor subtypes and provides superior prognostic value compared with mutation status alone.

Abstract Type B1 and B2 thymomas are lymphocyte‐rich malignant tumours with few somatic mutations in protein‐coding regions of the nuclear genome; nonetheless, noncoding regions remain uncharacterized. Here, we developed a method to isolate pure thymoma cells from lymphocyte‐rich tissues, and then performed genome‐wide deep sequencing. The total number

Novel Liquid Biopsy in Gastrointestinal Cancers
ABSTRACT Gastrointestinal (GI) cancers represent a significant global health burden, being among the leading causes of cancer‐related deaths. The prognosis for patients remains unsatisfactory, largely because most cancers are detected at advanced stages.
