Cholangiocarcinoma is a very heterogenous cancer and “target-rich” disease. While the current classifications are based on the anatomic location of these tumors (intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma, extrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma, and gallbladder cancer ...

NSD2 coordinates the neurogenic‐to‐gliogenic transition in the developing neocortex through H3K36me2‐dependent activation of EGFR–ERK signaling. Loss of NSD2 disrupts astroglial and oligodendroglial development, whereas ERK activation rescues gliogenic defects in vitro and in vivo.

Fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR)−2 can be inhibited by FGFR-selective or non-selective tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs). Selective TKIs are approved for cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) with FGFR2 fusions; however, their application is limited by a ...

Pasta is a transcriptomic aging clock built on an age‐shift learning framework and trained on 17 000 samples across 21 datasets. It accurately predicts relative biological age across tissues, platforms, and species, captures stemness‐to‐senescence transitions, and identifies age‐modulatory perturbations.

Background: Fibroblast growth factor receptor 2 (FGFR2) is frequently altered in tumors and one of the top therapeutic targets in cholangiocarcinoma (CHOL) with FGFR2 fusions. Although there have been several studies on individual tumors, a comprehensive

Under normal conditions, MACF1 interacts with Rab14 and facilitates KIF16B‐mediated FGFR vesicle trafficking along microtubules to the plasma membrane, thereby supporting BMSC differentiation. In contrast, chronic GC exposure suppresses MACF1 expression, disrupting this transport and causing intracellular FGFR retention, which blunts osteogenic ...

FGFR2 as A Prognostic and Predictive Marker in Colorectal Adenocarcinoma Based on TILs Grade
BACKGROUND: Colorectal cancer remains a serious health problem due to its high incidence and mortality rate each year. Histopathological grades and tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) are associated with patient’s outcome.

FGFR2 rearrangements resulting in dysregulated signaling are drivers of cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) tumorigenesis, and occur almost exclusively in intrahepatic CCA.
