Yoda1 Inhibits TGFβ-Induced Cardiac Fibroblast Activation via a BRD4-Dependent Pathway
Fibrosis represents a pivotal pathological process in numerous diseases, characterized by excessive deposition of extracellular matrix (ECM) that disrupts normal tissue architecture and function.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

From mice to humans—divergent strategies for intestinal homeostasis and regeneration
Recent advances such as organoid genome editing, xenotransplantation, imaging, and whole‐genome sequencing have enabled direct studies of human intestinal stem cells (ISCs). These studies reveal species‐specific features, including slower ISC proliferation, distinct injury responses, slower somatic mutation accumulation in humans, and an inverse ...

Cardiac fibroblast deletion of PTBP1 modulates the profibrotic response by alternative splicing
Dynamic cardiac fibroblast phenotypes drive pathological remodeling and fibrosis, yet post-transcriptional mechanisms controlling fibroblast activation remain poorly defined.

Animals must match their growth rate to available nutrients. We show that in Drosophila larvae, the nutrient‐sensing TOR kinase controls growth by regulating levels of TFAM, a key regulator of mitochondrial function, in the adipose tissue. When nutrients are abundant, high TOR activity suppresses TFAM, lowering mitochondrial bioenergetic activity and ...

RIPK3-MLKL-Mediated Neutrophil Death Requires Concurrent Activation of Fibroblast Activation Protein-α. [PDF]
Cytokine-primed neutrophils can undergo a nonapoptotic type of cell death using components of the necroptotic pathway, including receptor-interacting protein kinase-3 (RIPK3), mixed lineage kinase-like (MLKL) and NADPH oxidase. In this report, we provide

Engineering peptides into antibodies—opportunities and strategies for therapeutic innovation
Peptides and antibodies occupy complementary therapeutic niches. Peptides recognize difficult targets in a compact format, while antibodies add specificity, long half‐life, and effector functions. This review examines strategies that merge both modalities—peptide grafting into loops, terminal and Fc fusions, and bioconjugation—highlighting how ...
