This article proposes a convergent adaptive observer for a damped wave PDE and an infinite‐dimensional ODE coupled in cascade using sampled‐in‐space ODE state measurements. The proposed observer estimates the distributed states of the PDE and ODE along with unknown PDE parameters and spatial input.

A Compact Planar Quasi-Yagi Antenna With Bandpass Filtering Response
A planar quasi-Yagi antenna with bandpass filtering response is presented. The quasi-Yagi antenna consists of a double-sided printed driven dipole, an offset double-sided parallel-strip line (DSPSL) director, a DSPSL reflector, and an offset DSPSL ...

Observer‐Based Adaptive Event‐Triggered Tracking Control for Fuzzy TS Systems With Premise Mismatch
This paper presents an adaptive logistic event‐triggered observer‐based tracking controller for Takagi‐Sugeno fuzzy systems under constrained inputs and network delays. Leveraging a hybrid LMI and Secretary Bird Optimization approach, this strategy significantly minimizes communication overhead and computational burden while ensuring optimal reference ...

dynoGP: Deep Gaussian Processes for Dynamic System Identification
This work introduces a novel class of deep models for system identification, dynamical deep Gaussian processes, which combine the strengths of data‐driven methods, such as those based on neural network architectures, with the ability to output a probability distribution for uncertainty representation.

Wideband Omnidirectional Slotted Patch Antenna With Filtering Response
A wideband omnidirectional patch antenna with filtering response is investigated in this paper. The circular patch antenna is centrally fed by a probe, with its TM01, TM02, and TM03 modes simultaneously excited. Two ring slots are meticulously introduced

β‐Catenin/c‐Myc Axis Modulates Autophagy Response to Different Ammonia Concentrations
Ammonia, detoxified by the liver into urea and glutamine, impacts autophagy differently at varying levels. Low ammonia activates autophagy via c‐Myc and β‐catenin, while high levels suppress it. Using Huh7 cells and Spf‐ash mice, c‐Myc's role in cytoprotective autophagy is revealed, offering insights into hyperammonemia and potential therapeutic ...

X-Band Waveguide Reflectionless Filtering Antenna Array With High Selectivity
In this paper, a waveguide reflectionless filtering antenna array with high selectivity is proposed. Instead of reflecting the out-of-band signal back to the source, the proposed antenna array dissipates the energy through a lossy network, which can ...

Design of a Low Profile and Compact Omnidirectional Filtering Patch Antenna
A low profile omnidirectional patch antenna with filtering response is investigated in this paper. The triangular patch antenna is axially fed by a probe at its center, exciting both its TM10 and TM11 modes. Comparing with the traditional circular patch,

Switchable filtering in Vivaldi antenna
Presented is a new frequency switchable Vivaldi antenna that has a capability to operate in a wideband mode (1-3 GHz) and reconfigure to six different subbands of operations. The reconfiguration is realised by coupling and changing the effective electrical length of ring slots inserted in the structure by means of pin diode switches. To examine antenna
