Low-Profile Filtering End-Fire Antenna Integrated With Compact Bandstop Filtering Element for High Selectivity

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
A high-selectivity low-profile filtering end-fire antenna is proposed using a bandstop filtering (BSF) element integrated into the feedline of the conventional quasi-Yagi antenna. Three transmission zeros (TZs) and six transmission poles (TPs) of the BSF

A Q‐Learning Algorithm to Solve the Two‐Player Zero‐Sum Game Problem for Nonlinear Systems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, Volume 39, Issue 3, Page 566-581, March 2025.
A Q‐learning algorithm to solve the two‐player zero‐sum game problem for nonlinear systems. ABSTRACT This paper deals with the two‐player zero‐sum game problem, which is a bounded L2$$ {L}_2 $$‐gain robust control problem. Finding an analytical solution to the complex Hamilton‐Jacobi‐Issacs (HJI) equation is a challenging task.

Numerical synthesis of filtering antennas [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Dizertační práce je zaměřena na kompletní metodiku návrhu tří a čtyř prvkových flíčkových anténních řad, které neobsahují žádné filtrující části a přesto se chovají jako filtrující antény (filtény).

Hopfield Neural Networks for Online Constrained Parameter Estimation With Time‐Varying Dynamics and Disturbances

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
This paper proposes two projector‐based Hopfield neural network (HNN) estimators for online, constrained parameter estimation under time‐varying data, additive disturbances, and slowly drifting physical parameters. The first is a constraint‐aware HNN that enforces linear equalities and inequalities (via slack neurons) and continuously tracks the ...

DESIGN OF FILTERING MICROSTRIP ANTENNA USING FILTER SYNTHESIS APPROACH [PDF]

open access: yesProgress In Electromagnetics Research, 2014
Design, simulation, and measurement of a compact flltering microstrip antenna is presented. A feed line, two hairpin resonators, and a rectangular patch are integrated to form the flltering antenna. The elements together function as a third order bandpass fllter with Chebyshev equal ripple response of 0.043dB at midband frequency of 2.0GHz.

Current Tracking Adaptive Control of Brushless DC Motors

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
In this paper, the current tracking for Brushless Direct Current motors is approached considering uncertainty in the parameters of the motor's model. An adaptive control scheme to compensate electrical parameters uncertainty is proposed without requiring any knowledge of the mechanical parameters.

β‐Catenin/c‐Myc Axis Modulates Autophagy Response to Different Ammonia Concentrations

open access: yesAdvanced Biology, Volume 9, Issue 3, March 2025.
Ammonia, detoxified by the liver into urea and glutamine, impacts autophagy differently at varying levels. Low ammonia activates autophagy via c‐Myc and β‐catenin, while high levels suppress it. Using Huh7 cells and Spf‐ash mice, c‐Myc's role in cytoprotective autophagy is revealed, offering insights into hyperammonemia and potential therapeutic ...

Calibration of Low-Frequency, Wide-Field Radio Interferometers Using Delay/Delay-Rate Filtering [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
We present a filtering technique that can be applied to individual baselines of wide-bandwidth, wide-field interferometric data to geometrically select regions on the celestial sphere that contain primary calibration sources.
