Machine Learning‐Assisted Inverse Design of Soft and Multifunctional Hybrid Liquid Metal Composites

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A machine learning framework is presented for inverse design of synthesizable multifunctional composites containing both liquid metal and solid inclusions. By integrating physics‐based modeling, data‐driven prediction, and Bayesian optimization, the approach enables intelligent design of experiments to identify optimal compositions and realize these ...

Historical Foundation and Practical Guideline for Ferroelectric Switching Kinetic Studies

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The P and U pulses in the conventional PUND measurements are not identical because of the interplay between switching current and the measurement circuit components. This circuit effect can lead to a shift in polarization transients and misinterpreted physics in the switching kinetics.

On different estimators of a population mean based on ranked sets [PDF]

open access: yes
A review of results concerning the problem of sampling based on ranked sets is presented. From an infinite or finite population n independent samples of n elements each are drawn.

Near‐Infrared Light‐Driven Zn/Au Janus Micromotors for Multiplex SERS Detection of Anticancer Drugs

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Zn/Au Janus micromotors, propelled by thermophoretic effects under NIR light, function as active SERS platforms for single and multiplex detection of anticancer drugs. Their dynamic motion enhances analyte exchange at the Au interface, reducing saturation and competitive adsorption, thereby improving sensitivity and extending the linear detection range.

Asymptotic Behaviors of Nearest Neighbor Kernel Density Estimator in Left-truncated Data [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Sciences, Islamic Republic of Iran, 2014
Kernel density estimators are the basic tools for density estimation in non-parametric statistics.  The k-nearest neighbor kernel estimators represent a special form of kernel density estimators, in  which  the  bandwidth  is varied depending on the ...

Estimates of the correlation function of a Gaussian stationary process when its values are known in a finite set of points

open access: yesНауковий вісник Ужгородського університету. Серія: Математика і інформатика, 2020
In practice, process values are usually observed at certain points in time. And based on this data, we need to draw conclusions about the behavior of the process that is being monitored.
