Finite-Time Resilient Formation Control with Bounded Inputs
In this paper we consider the problem of a multi-agent system achieving a formation in the presence of misbehaving or adversarial agents. We introduce a novel continuous time resilient controller to guarantee that normally behaving agents can converge to

Controlling Fast Chaos in Delay Dynamical Systems [PDF]
We introduce a novel approach for controlling fast chaos in time-delay dynamical systems and use it to control a chaotic photonic device with a characteristic time scale of ~12 ns.

Optimal finite-time bit erasure under full control [PDF]
We study the finite-time erasure of a one-bit memory consisting of a one-dimensional double-well potential, with each well encoding a memory macrostate. We focus on setups that provide full control over the form of the potential-energy landscape and derive protocols that minimize the average work needed to erase the bit over a fixed amount of time.

Switching Control for Parameter Identifiability of Uncertain Systems
This paper considers the problem of identifying the parameters of an uncertain linear system by means of feedback control. The problem is approached by considering time-varying controllers.

Mean-field sparse Jurdjevic-Quinn control [PDF]
International audienceWe consider nonlinear transport equations with non-local velocity, describing the time-evolution of a measure, which in practice may represent the density of a crowd.

Robust Finite-Time Tracking Control for Robotic Manipulators with Time Delay Estimation
In this study, a robust H∞ finite-time tracking controller is proposed for robotic manipulators based on time delay estimation. In this controller, there is no need to know the dynamics of robots, so it is quite simple.

Discrete-Time Controllability for Feedback Quantum Dynamics [PDF]
Controllability properties for discrete-time, Markovian quantum dynamics are investigated. We find that, while in general the controlled system is not finite-time controllable, feedback control allows for arbitrary asymptotic state-to-state transitions ...

Functional Connectivity Linked to Cognitive Recovery After Minor Stroke
ABSTRACT Objective Patients with minor stroke exhibit slowed processing speed and generalized alterations in functional connectivity involving frontoparietal cortex (FPC). The pattern of connectivity evolves over time. In this study, we examine the relationship of functional connectivity patterns to cognitive performance, to determine ...
