MFTESO Based Multivariable Finite-time Control for Reusable Rocket

open access: yesKongzhi Yu Xinxi Jishu, 2019
To solve the attitude control problem for the first-stage of a reusable rocket in atmosphere unpowered deceleration phase, considering the influence of the model uncertainty and external disturbance, a multivariable finite-time control method based on ...

Exciton Binding Energy Modulation in 2D Perovskites: A Phenomenological Keldysh Framework

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The intrinsic screening effects are successfully decoupled from structural distortion by rigorously designing a series of 2D perovskites. This enabled us to demonstrate how the dielectric environment modulates the quasiparticle bandgap and exciton binding energy.

Melt Grafting of Geometry‐Tailored Voltage Stabilizers for High‐Performance Polypropylene Insulation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A scalable one‐step melt grafting strategy is developed to enhance the dielectric properties of isotactic polypropylene by covalently incorporating thermally stable aromatic voltage stabilizers. This solvent‐free approach improves volume resistivity and DC breakdown strength through deep trap formation and charge localization, offering a sustainable ...

Selection Strategies for Flexible Pressure Sensor Electrode Materials Toward Ultrafast Response

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study reveals, for the first time, how the electrode–organic interface governs the temporal performance of flexible pressure sensors. By pairing high‐conductivity CVD PEDOT with commonly used metal electrodes, the authors demonstrate that interfacial energy alignment dictates microsecond‐scale response, providing a straightforward design strategy ...

Adaptive 4D‐Printed Vascular Stents With Low‐Temperature‐Activated and Intelligent Deployment

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Microarchitected coronary artery stents were fabricated using a polycaprolactone (PCL)‐based shape memory polymer (SMP) composite via projection micro‐stereolithography (PµSL) 4D printing. By incorporating diethyl phthalate (DEP) as a plasticizer, the thermal transition temperature (Ttran) was modulated to about 37°C, enabling rapid and autonomous ...

Fractional-order backstepping sliding mode control for the speed tension and screw down system of the reversible cold strip rolling mill

open access: yesSystems Science & Control Engineering
This paper investigates the robust control problem of the speed tension and screw down system of Reversible Cold Strip Rolling Mill (RCSRM). A finite-time observer is proposed to observe the uncertainties of the system. Based on the finite time observer,

Understanding and Tuning Mobile Interfaces in Ferroelectric Hf0.5Zr0.5O2 Thin Films in Relation to Microstructure

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Ferroelectricity in thin HfO2‐based films offers great possibilities for next‐generation neuromorphic memory devices. There, the response to subcoercive voltage signals is driven by the movement of mobile interfaces and their interaction with crystal defects – a yet rather unexplored aspect, which we shed light on and gain new insights into the complex

An improved closed-loop stability related measure for finite-precision digital controller realizations

open access: yes, 2001
The pole-sensitivity approach is employed to investigate the stability issue of the discrete-time control system, where a digital controller, implemented with finite word length (FWL), is used.

Circular‐Polarization‐Sensitive Organic Photodetectors with a Chiral Nanopatterned Electrode Inverse‐Designed by Genetic Algorithm

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A chiral photodetector capable of selectively distinguishing left‐ and right‐handed circularly polarized light is experimentally demonstrated. The device, which features a nanopatterned electrode inverse‐designed by a genetic algorithm within a metal–dielectric–metal nanocavity that incorporates a vacuum‐deposited small‐molecule multilayer, exhibits ...

Nonsingular Terminal Sliding Mode Control of the Yarn Winding Process Based on a Finite-Time Extended State Observer

open access: yesIEEE Access
Tension control in yarn winding is crucial for maintaining product quality and process continuity in the textile industry, particularly in the presence of varying rotational speeds, winding radii, and external disturbances.
