Affine Fisher information inequalities
The \(L_p\)-generalization of the Petty projection inequality for convex bodies, established by \textit{E.~Lutwak}, \textit{D.~Yang} and \textit{G.~Zhang} [J. Differ. Geom. 56, No. 1, 111--132 (2000; Zbl 1034.52009)], leads to the \(L_p\)-version of the Stam inequality, recently established by the same authors and S.~Lv and called the integral affine ...

A mouse model for vascular normalization and a human breast cancer cohort were studied to understand the relationship between vascular leakage and tumor immune suppression. For this, endothelial and immune cell RNAseq, staining for vascular function, and immune cell profiling were employed.

Generalized Wavelet Fisher’s Information of 1/fα Signals
This paper defines the generalized wavelet Fisher information of parameter q. This information measure is obtained by generalizing the time-domain definition of Fisher’s information of Furuichi to the wavelet domain and allows to quantify smoothness and ...

Intein‐based modular chimeric antigen receptor platform for specific CD19/CD20 co‐targeting
CARtein is a modular CAR platform that uses split inteins to splice antigen‐recognition modules onto a universal signaling backbone, enabling precise, scarless assembly without re‐engineering signaling domains. Deployed here against CD19 and CD20 in B‐cell malignancies, the design supports flexible multi‐antigen targeting to boost T‐cell activation and

Fisher Information Flow in Artificial Neural Networks
The estimation of continuous parameters from measured data plays a central role in many fields of physics. A key tool in understanding and improving such estimation processes is the concept of Fisher information, which quantifies how information about ...

Clinical trials on PARP inhibitors in urothelial carcinoma (UC) showed limited efficacy and a lack of predictive biomarkers. We propose SLFN5, SLFN11, and OAS1 as UC‐specific response predictors. We suggest Talazoparib as the better PARP inhibitor for UC than Olaparib.

Combining estimators of a common parameter across samples
In many settings, multiple data collections and analyses on the same topic are summarised separately through statistical estimators of parameters and variances, and yet there are scientific reasons for sharing some statistical parameters across these ...

Cytoplasmic p21 promotes stemness of colon cancer cells via activation of the NFκB pathway
Cytoplasmic p21 promotes colorectal cancer stem cell (CSC) features by destabilizing the NFκB–IκB complex, activating NFκB signaling, and upregulating BCL‐xL and COX2. In contrast to nuclear p21, cytoplasmic p21 enhances spheroid formation and stemness transcription factor CD133.

Prior-based Bayesian information criterion
We present a new approach to model selection and Bayes factor determination, based on Laplace expansions (as in BIC), which we call Prior-based Bayes Information Criterion (PBIC).
