KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Treatment resistance is a major challenge for patients with advanced prostate cancer. This study examined an alternative approach to target the major prostate cancer‐promoting pathway by targeting epigenetic factors, whose levels are higher in tumours.

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

The Differences of 10% Neutral Buffered Formalin, 4% Paraformaldehyde, and Bouin Solution in Newborn Rat Brain

open access: yesWMJ (Warmadewa Medical Journal)
Rats are widely used in the study of embryological development of the central nervous system and its congenital disorders. Therefore, tissue fixation is very important in obtaining a good picture of the central nervous system, especially in newborn rats.

Host Specificity and Nitrogen Fixation by Rhizobia from Native Legumes of South Dakota

open access: yes, 1976
This these is concerned with a study of the study of the root nodule bacteria associate with native legumes. In the study cultural characteristics were observed along with physiological properties of the native bacterial isolates.

The genetics of symbiotic nitrogen fixation: Comparative genomics of 14 rhizobia strains by resolution of protein clusters

open access: yes, 2012
The symbiotic relationship between legumes and nitrogen fixing bacteria is critical for agriculture, as it may have profound impacts on lowering costs for farmers, on land sustainability, on soil quality, and on mitigation of greenhouse gas emissions ...

Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Proteasome inhibitor, ixazomib prevents topoisomerase‐I degradation and reverses irinotecan resistance in colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Ixazomib inhibits proteasome‐mediated degradation of topoisomerase I induced by irinotecan, thereby restoring drug sensitivity and promoting tumor cell death in colorectal cancer. Irinotecan, a topoisomerase I (topoI) inhibitor, is widely used for colorectal cancer, but resistance remains a major clinical challenge.

Design and application of an arterial line set fixation device (一种动脉插件固定装置的设计与应用)

open access: yes中西医结合护理
Continuous monitoring of invasive blood pressure can provide real-time, accurate data monitoring for ICU patients and provide effective guidance for emergency rescue and following treatment, so flexible fixation devices are essential to ensure the ...

Influence of pre-crop and root architecture on the mobilization of non-exchangeable NH4+

open access: yesPlant, Soil and Environment, 2014
It is well established that non-exchangeable NH4+ is an important N source for plants. However, release from clay minerals only occurs when the NH4+ concentration of the mineral environment declines below a certain level.
