Adaptive Discontinuous Control for Fixed-Time Consensus of Nonlinear Multi-Agent Systems

open access: yes, 2022
This paper mainly focuses on the fixed-time consensus (FXC) control problem for nonlinear multi-agent systems (MASs). For the cases of leader-following and leaderless, two adaptive discontinuous protocols are designed, respectively, to realize our ...

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Data of real-life intersections for fixed-time traffic light control [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
This document contains the data of thirteen real-life intersections. This data can be used for the optimization of fixed-time traffic light control. A fixed-time controller visualizes when each traffic light is green, yellow and red during a repeating ...

Fixed-Time Tracking Control for Underactuated Quadrotor UAVs with User-Defined Time Constraints

open access: yesActuators
This paper investigates the fixed-time tracking control problem for underactuated quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicle systems subject to mass parameter uncertainties and user-defined time constraints. For the parameter uncertainties inherent in the system,

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

A Fixed Time Convergent Dynamical System to Solve Linear Programming [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
The aim of this paper is to present a new dynamical system which solves linear programming. Its design is considered as a sliding mode control problem, where its structure is based on the Karush-Kuhn-Tucker optimality conditions, and its multipliers are ...

Effective Fixed-Time Control for Constrained Nonlinear System

open access: yes2025 11th International Conference on Control, Decision and Information Technologies (CoDIT)
In this paper, we tackle the state transformation problem in non-strict full state-constrained systems by introducing an adaptive fixed-time control method, utilizing a one-to-one asymmetric nonlinear mapping auxiliary system. Additionally, we develop a class of multi-threshold event-triggered control strategies that facilitate autonomous controller ...

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.
