Abstract The distribution of interval times between recurrent discrete events, such as Solar and stellar flares, reflects their underlying dynamics. Log-normal functions provide good fits to the interval time distributions of many astronomical processes.

Monocytes with trained immunity–like signatures are associated with acute anterior uveitis in ankylosing spondylitis

In ankylosing spondylitis‐acute anterior uveitis (AS‐AAU), trained immunity monocytes (Mono‐TI) differentiate into macrophages in the eye, retaining trained immunity features. Mono‐TI cells secrete pro‐inflammatory cytokines and chemokines, including IL‐1β, TNF‐α, and CCL3.

Asprosin as a Potential Link Between Vascular Inflammation and Disease Activity in Behçet's Disease

Journal of Clinical Laboratory Analysis, EarlyView.
Serum asprosin levels are significantly elevated in patients with Behçet's disease compared to healthy controls. Asprosin concentrations increase progressively with disease activity and are strongly associated with vascular involvement and uveitis, suggesting a potential role as a biomarker of vascular inflammation and disease severity.
