Flower formation of Chinese cabbage. II. Anti-vernalization and short-day treatment
Scientia Horticulturae, 1984Abstract The influence of high temperature (anti-vernalization) and short-day treatment during the raising of transplants on the bolting of Chinese cabbage having early planting-dates has been tested. A temperature rise from 18 to 26°C resulted in a delay in bolting, but only caused a slight increase in leaf number.

Selenium enrichment pattern in flowering Chinese cabbage, cabbage and asparagus
2006CONCLUSIONS - Within a certain range, selenium accumulation in three studied vegetables was lineally correlated with spraying concentration. However, a too high concentration caused the reduction of vegetable output and damage in quality. - Twice spraying with lower concentration of selenium was a better option to improve selenium enrichment efficiency.
