RNA degradomics revealed dsProsβ1‐derived siRNA‐mediated mRNA cleavage events, mainly at uracil‐guanine and adenine‐adenine pairs. Proteasome inhibition via dsProsβ1 increased mitochondrial and cytoskeletal proteins while reducing translation‐related and mRNA‐binding proteins.

Effects of bioinsecticide exposure route on aphids and their natural enemies in oilseed rape
Fatty acids, silicone polymers and surfactants reduced aphid numbers but caused natural enemy mortality under direct exposure, while minimal residual activity suggests potential for targeted, compatible use in integrated pest management. Abstract BACKGROUND Myzus persicae Sulzer and Brevicoryne brassicae L.

The cabbage stem flea beetle (Psylliodes chrysocephala) is a major pest of winter oilseed rape (Brassica napus). We tested B. napus and Sinapis alba seedlings for feeding resistance and underlying chemical defenses. S. alba was least damaged, while metabolite profiles revealed resistance‐linked compounds, highlighting breeding potential for insect ...

The continuing significance of chiral agrochemicals
In the time frame 2018–2023, around 43% of the 35 chiral agrochemicals introduced to the market (herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, acaricides, and nematicides) contain one or more stereogenic centers in the molecule, and almost 69% of them have been marketed as racemic mixtures of enantiomers or stereoisomers.

An Efficient Protocol for the Production of Pure Lines in Flowering Chinese Cabbage [PDF]
The rapid expansion of Asian populations in the United States presents significant requirements for Asian vegetables. Flowering chinese cabbage (Brassica rapa L. ssp. chinensis var. utilis Tsen et Lee) is one of the most popular vegetables in China. The main factors restricting the progress in its breeding and genetic studies is the time required in ...
