N‐(Heptafluoroisopropylthio)saccharin as a Practical Reagent for Electrophilic –SCF(CF3)2 Installation

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, Volume 368, Issue 3, 3 February 2026.
A bench‐stable saccharin electrophilic reagent enables the direct installation of the heptafluoroisopropylthio group onto diverse (hetero)arenes and amines under mild conditions. The method forms CSRF and NSRF bonds in a single step and allows subsequent oxidation to sulfonamides.
