Adherence to Treatment in Allergic Rhinitis During the Pollen Season in Europe: A MASK‐air Study

In a study assessing mobile health data, (i) adherence to rhinitis medication was highest for oral antihistamines and lowest for azelastine‐fluticasone, (ii) in weeks of partial adherence, azelastine‐fluticasone was associated with lower levels of reported rhinitis symptoms than other medication classes.

Comparison of Allergic Rhinitis Treatments on Utilities and Quality of Life: A MASK‐air Study

This mHealth study has shown that fixed combinations of intranasal antihistamines and corticosteroids were associated with higher quality of life than oral antihistamines and intranasal antihistamines. Both intranasal corticosteroids and oral antihistamines were associated with higher quality of life than intranasal antihistamines.
