Application of the fungicide Switch 62.5 WG in garden strawberry (Fragaria × ananassa), targeting Botrytis cinerea, reduced sawfly (Cladius spp.) herbivory by up to 94% and improved fruit quality. This non‐target effect also spilled over to neighbouring untreated plants, lowering damage by 46%.

We used iNaturalist records, a longitudinal field survey, and a simulated herbivory experiment to explore how insect herbivory factors are associated with Cornus canadensis fruit production.
