Changes in physiological parameters and thermal comfort when wearing protective clothing in long-range aeromedical evacuation: a prospective, non-blinded, two-stage crossover self-controlled study

open access: yesJournal of Physiological Anthropology
Background The thermos-physiological characteristics of medical personnel wearing protective clothing during prolonged activities under low oxygen pressure (LOP) and normal oxygen pressure (NOP) are crucial. Methods The average age of the 24 participants

Research on UAV Conflict Detection and Resolution Based on Tensor Operation and Improved Differential Evolution Algorithm

open access: yesAerospace
With the widespread application of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in civilian and military fields, how to effectively detect and resolve conflicts of large-volume and high-density UAV flights in local airspace has become an important issue.

Optimal Sensor Deployment and Velocity Configuration With Hybrid TDOA and FDOA Measurements

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Source localization based on the hybrid time-difference-of-arrival (TDOA) and frequency-difference-of-arrival (FDOA) measurements from distributed sensors is an essential problem in wireless sensor networks (WSNs).

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Organizing the interface—Plasma membrane architecture and receptor dynamics in virus‐cell interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

Force Control of a Space Manipulator

open access: yesJournal of Robotics and Mechatronics, 2000
This paper deals with the force control of a space manipulator for a sample-return mission. There are two difficulties in force control of this class of space manipulator: One is that a space robot has no fixed point in space and moves when its manipulator exerts force on the environment.

Epigenetic blind spots – the role of DNA methylation dynamics in stem cell‐based models of embryogenesis

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Identification Method of Critical Routes in Aviation Network Based on Double Capacity Identification Standard

open access: yesHangkong gongcheng jinzhan, 2019
A method of identifying critical routes in the aviation network based on dual capacity identification standard is used for improving the singleness of the traditional identification method and incomplete evaluation index of network performance.

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...
