Tumor and germline testing with next generation sequencing in epithelial ovarian cancer: a prospective paired comparison using an 18‐gene panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Genetic testing in epithelial ovarian cancer includes both germline and tumor‐testing. This approach often duplicates resources. The current prospective study assessed the feasibility of tumor‐first multigene testing by comparing tumor tissue with germline testing of peripheral blood using an 18‐gene NGS panel in 106 patients.

Some Applications of Fractional Integral Operators and Ruscheweyh Derivatives

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1996
Recently, \textit{S. Owa}, \textit{M. Saigo} and the third author [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 140, 419-426 (1989; Zbl 0668.30013)] introduced and studied a certain generalized fractional integral operator \(J^{\alpha, \beta, \eta}_{0, z}\) involving the Gaussian hypergeometric function.

Plasma extrachromosomal circular DNA as a biomarker in EGFR‐targeted therapy of non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Detection of extrachromosomal circular DNA (eccDNA) in plasma samples from EGFR‐mutated non‐small cell lung cancer patients. Plasma was collected before and during treatment with the EGFR‐tyrosine kinase inhibitor osimertinib. Plasma eccDNA was detected in all cancer samples, and the presence of the EGFR gene on eccDNA serves as a potential biomarker ...

Some Fractional q-Integrals and q-Derivatives [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the Edinburgh Mathematical Society, 1966
A q-analogue of the integral ∣f(t)dt is defined by means ofwhich is an inverse of the q–derivativeThe present author (2) has recently obtained a q–nalogue of a formula of Cauchy, namely, where, for real or complex α and N a positive integer,

Glycosylated LGALS3BP is highly secreted by bladder cancer cells and represents a novel urinary disease biomarker

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Urinary LGALS3BP is elevated in bladder cancer patients compared to healthy controls as detected by the 1959 antibody–based ELISA. The antibody shows enhanced reactivity to the high‐mannose glycosylated variant secreted by cancer cells treated with kifunensine (KIF).

The Stability of Non-standard Finite Difference Scheme for Solution of Partial Differential Equations of Fractional Order

open access: yesپژوهش‌های ریاضی, 2015
Fractional derivatives and integrals are new concepts of derivatives and integrals of arbitrary order. Partial differential equations whose derivatives can be of fractional order are called fractional partial differential equations (FPDEs).

On more general forms of proportional fractional operators

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2020
In this article, more general types of fractional proportional integrals and derivatives are proposed. Some properties of these operators are discussed.

Hadamard functional fractional integrals and derivatives and fractional differential equations

open access: yesFilomat
This paper introduces a general type of new version of Hadamard fractional integrals and derivatives with respect to another function and studies some of their properties. Further, we prove the existence results for fractional differential equations with this Hadamard type fractional derivative.
