EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

On a Method of Introducing Free-Infinitely Divisible Probability Measures
Random integral mappings give isomorphism between the subsemigroups of the classical (I D, *) and the free-infinite divisible (I D, ⊞) probability measures.

Free-Resolution Probability Distributions Map-Based Precise Vehicle Localization in Urban Areas
We propose a free-resolution probability distributions map (FRPDM) and an FRPDM-based precise vehicle localization method using 3D light detection and ranging (LIDAR).

Free W*-Dynamical Systems From p-Adic Number Fields and the Euler Totient Function
In this paper, we study relations between free probability on crossed product W * -algebras with a von Neumann algebra over p-adic number fields

RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...

Prostate Cancer Probability after Total PSA and Percent Free PSA Determination
The percent free PSA value is a promising diagnostic tool for prostate cancer. However, its actual role has not yet been established because of the widely diverging sensitivity and specificity values.

Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Lectures on the Combinatorics of Free Probability
Free Probability Theory studies a special class of 'noncommutative'random variables, which appear in the context of operators on Hilbert spaces and in one of the large random matrices.

Free Will: A consensus gentium Argument [PDF]
This argument for free will is a probabilistic one based upon two conjectures: first, that of consensus; namely, that a large majority of people believe that they and others have free will and second, that a priori proofs against the existence of free ...
