TOMM20 increases cancer aggressiveness by maintaining a reduced state with increased NADH and NADPH levels, oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS), and apoptosis resistance while reducing reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels. Conversely, CRISPR‐Cas9 knockdown of TOMM20 alters these cancer‐aggressive traits.

Modulation Algorithms for Manipulating Nuclear Spin States [PDF]
We exploit the impact of exact frequency modulation on transition time of steering nuclear spin states from theoretical point of view. 1-stage and 2-stage Frequency-Amplitude-Phase modulation (FAPM) algorithms are proposed in contrast with 1-stage and 3-stage Amplitude-Phase modulation (APM) algorithms. The sufficient conditions are further present for

Loss of superfluidity in a Bose-Einstein condensate via forced resonant oscillations
We predict the loss of superfluidity in a Bose-Einstein condensate in an axially symmetric harmonic trap alone during resonant collective oscillations via a classical dynamical transition.

Transcriptome‐wide analysis of circRNA and RBP profiles and their molecular relevance for GBM
CircRNAs are differentially expressed in glioblastoma primary tumors and might serve as therapeutic targets and diagnostic markers. The investigation of circRNA and RNA‐binding proteins (RBPs) interactions shows that distinct RBPs play a role in circRNA biogenesis and function.

Parametric Excitation of a Bose-Einstein Condensate: From Faraday Waves to Granulation
We explore, both experimentally and theoretically, the response of an elongated Bose-Einstein condensate to modulated interactions. We identify two distinct regimes differing in modulation frequency and modulation strength. Longitudinal surface waves are

This study investigates an alternative approach to reactivating the oncosuppressor p53 in cancer. A short peptide targeting the association of the two p53 inhibitors, MDM2 and MDM4, induces an otherwise therapeutically active p53 with unique features that promote cell death and potentially reduce toxicity towards proliferating nontumor cells.

Dynamic Brillouin optical fiber sensors based on fast scanning of Brillouin gain spectrum (BGS) are one of the most promising techniques to measure dynamic strains, where an ~11-GHz bandwidth arbitrary waveform generator (AWG) or a vector microwave ...

Frequency modulated laser beam with highly efficient intensity stabilisation [PDF]
We analyse the limitation of the amplitude modulation rejection due to the spatial modulation of the output beam of an acousto-optic modulator used in an active laser beam stabilisation system when a frequency modulation of a few megahertz is applied to this modulator.
