Iterative Decoding and Soft Interference Cancellation in Fast Frequency Hopping Multiuser System Using Clipped Combining

open access: yes, 2007
Iterative decoding (ID) aided fast frequency hopping (FFH), M-ary frequency shift keying (MFSK) using clipped combining in multiple access (MA) channels is investigated. All users’ data are convolutionally encoded and the encoded bits are interleaved and

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Low-complexity iterative frequency domain decision feedback equalization

open access: yes, 2011
Single-carrier transmission with frequency domain equalization (SC-FDE) offers a viable design alternative to the classic orthogonal frequency division multiplexing technique.

Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.

Orthogonal frequency division multiplex synchronization techniques for frequency-selective fading channels

open access: yes, 2001
The effect of time-domain and frequency-domain synchronization errors is quantified in the context of various coherently and noncoherently detected 1, 2, and 4 bits/symbol OFDM constellations, in order to demonstrate the wide applicability of the ...

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Effect of grid‐following VSCs on frequency distribution of power grid

open access: yesIET Renewable Power Generation
The increasing penetration of grid‐following voltage source converters (GFL‐VSCs) in the power grid has changed the frequency dynamics of the system.

Extremely low frequency based communication link

open access: yes, 2009
The paper discusses the literature review and the possibility of using the ground itself as transmission medium for various users’ transceivers and an administrator transceiver using Multi-Carrier-Direct Sequence-Code Division Multiple Access (MC-DS-CDMA)

E2A selectively regulates TGF‐β–induced apoptosis in KRAS‐mutant non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Ability to induce apoptosis by TGF‐β is frequently lost in advanced lung adenocarcinoma despite intact TGF‐β signaling. We identify E2A as a mutant KRAS–dependent mediator of resistance to TGF‐β–induced apoptosis. TGF‐β induces E2A via SMAD3 in mutant KRAS cells, and E2A silencing restores apoptosis and enhances radiation response in cell lines ...

KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Treatment resistance is a major challenge for patients with advanced prostate cancer. This study examined an alternative approach to target the major prostate cancer‐promoting pathway by targeting epigenetic factors, whose levels are higher in tumours.
