Physical and functional interactions between LDLR family members and CXCR4 in breast cancer
Here, we demonstrate that members of the low‐density lipoprotein receptor (LDLR) family can regulate C‐X‐C chemokine receptor type 4 (CXCR4) signaling and therefore affect CXCR4‐induced breast cancer metastasis. We found that very low‐density lipoprotein receptor (VLDLR), low‐density lipoprotein receptor‐related protein 8 (LRP8) and apolipoprotein E ...

We have isolated a new Wnt receptor frizzled family member from Xenopus laevis, Xenopus frizzled-5 (Xfz5), a likely ortholog of human frizzled-5. Based on Northern and whole-mount in situ hybridization data, Xfz5 is first detected at the late neurula stage in retinal primordia.

Epigenetic control of cell identities from epiblast to gastrulation
In this review, we present and contextualize current knowledge about the roles of epigenetic modifiers during the development of mouse epiblast to gastrulation stage. The epigenetic regulation of enhancer and promoter elements by DNA methylation, histone modifications, and chromatin accessibility in concert with lineage‐specific transcription factors ...

EGFR is required for Wnt9a-Fzd9b signalling specificity in haematopoietic stem cells. [PDF]
Wnt signalling drives many processes in development, homeostasis and disease; however, the role and mechanism of individual ligand-receptor (Wnt-Frizzled (Fzd)) interactions in specific biological processes remain poorly understood. Wnt9a is specifically

WNT5a export onto extracellular vesicles studied at single‐molecule and single‐vesicle resolution
WNT signaling, which orchestrates tissue development and homeostasis, is mediated by hydrophobic WNT proteins traveling from secreting to receiving cells on various carriers. Here, fusion constructs of fluorescent proteins with WNT5a were developed and functionally validated.

Remote activation of the Wnt/β-catenin signalling pathway using functionalised magnetic particles.
Wnt signalling pathways play crucial roles in developmental biology, stem cell fate and tissue patterning and have become an attractive therapeutic target in the fields of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.

Structure-based prediction of Wnt binding affinities for Frizzled-type cysteine-rich domains
Wnt signaling pathways are of significant interest in development and oncogenesis. The first step in these pathways typically involves the binding of a Wnt protein to the cysteine-rich domain (CRD) of a Frizzled receptor. Wnt-Frizzled interactions can be
