Theoretical Study of RbOH, CsOH, FrOH, and Their Cations:  Geometries, Vibrational Frequencies, and the Ionization Energies

open access: yesJournal of Physical Chemistry A, 2003
High-level ab initio calculations, employing a range of theoretical methods up to RCCSD(T), together with effective core potentials and large valence basis sets, have been used to calculate the geometry and harmonic vibrational frequencies of RbOH, CsOH,

Frei aber Froh: A Reconsideration

Nineteenth Century Music, 1980
One of the most intriguing aspects of nineteenth-century German "absolute" music is the role played by ciphers and motto themes: that is, either ideas whose constituent notes spell out or represent words, or ideas which, though inspired initially by texts, now stand alone and give no hint of their origin.

A Multiestimation Scheme Using Different Froh-Discretizations

Proceedings of the 2005 IEEE International Symposium on, Mediterrean Conference on Control and Automation Intelligent Control, 2005., 2005
A multiestimation scheme for adaptive discrete control is presented. The different models of the scheme to be estimated are obtained from a set of different discretizations of a continuous unknown transfer function under a fractional order hold of correcting gain betaisin[-1,1] (beta-FROH).

‘Frei aber froh’

2001
Abstract Brahms had not long returned from Hamburg before he was offered the post, in succession to Anton Rubinstein, of artistic adviser and conductor to the Gesell schaft der Musikfreunde, with the promise of a large salary and a completely free hand in programming. After his customary period of hesitation he accepted, taking up the
