A loop matters for FTO substrate selection [PDF]
Recent studies have unequivocally established the link between FTO and obesity. FTO was biochemically shown to belong to the AlkB-like family DNA/RNA demethylase. However, FTO differs from other AlkB members in that it has unique substrate specificity and contains an extended C-terminus with unknown functions.

Au/GaOx‐based transparent heaters combine high optical transmittance and low sheet resistance with exceptional thermal stability up to 521°C for over 6 h. The interfacial GaOx layer suppresses dewetting of Au and enhances adhesion, ensuring mechanical robustness during deformation and reliability for real‐world applications including grilling ...

ABSTRACT Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) are promising next‐generation photovoltaics. The high performance of PSCs is attributed to the long carrier lifetimes of perovskite photoabsorbers. However, the carrier lifetimes of polycrystalline perovskite layers, which serve as the photoabsorbers in practical PSCs, have remained limited to several tens of ...

FTO: linking m6A demethylation to adipogenesis [PDF]
Polymorphism of the FTO gene encoding an N(6)-methyladenosine (m(6)A) RNA demethylase was robustly associated with human obesity; however, the mechanism by which FTO affects metabolism, considering its emerging role in RNA modification, is still poorly understood.

We report a unique color‐sensing phenomenon of a TiO2/SbSI:Sb2S3 device utilizing X‐ray absorption. Based on the revealed penetration and adsorption of water onto TiO2, we successfully improved the color response speed and sensitivity by incorporating a hydrophilic polymer interlayer, thereby opening up opportunities for photodetection applications ...
