Locally optimal subsampling strategies for full matrix capture measurements in pipe inspection

open access: yes, 2022
Paper 18, 10 S.In ultrasonic non-destructive testing, array and matrix transducers are being employed for applications that require in-field steerability or which benefit from a higher number of insonification angles. Having many transmit channels on the

Sparse Total Focus Imaging of Rail Transit Rail Defects Based on Grey Wolf Algorithm

open access: yesChengshi guidao jiaotong yanjiu
[Objective] Using the ultrasonic phased array technology can realize high-precision imaging detection of rail transit rail defects. However, the widely used FMC-TFM (full matrix capture-total focusing method) has the disadvantages of long computation ...

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Optimization of plasmon–plasmon coupling in photorefractive layered media [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
In this paper we study grating-induced plasmon–plasmon coupling in photorefractive layered media using a weakcoupling approximation. The method used is applicable to general layered structures that support both plasmonic and optical modes, such as ...

Multiple Graph Adaptive Regularized Semi-Supervised Nonnegative Matrix Factorization with Sparse Constraint for Data Representation

open access: yes, 2022
Multiple graph and semi-supervision techniques have been successfully introduced into the nonnegative matrix factorization (NMF) model for taking full advantage of the manifold structure and priori information of data to capture excellent low-dimensional

Extending MCAS to hypernuclei and radiative-capture reactions

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2010
Using a Multi-Channel Algebraic Scattering (MCAS) approach we have analyzed the spectra of two hypernuclear systems, 9ΛBe and 13ΛC. We have studied the splitting of the two odd-parity excited levels (1/2− and 3/2−) at 11 MeV excitation in 13ΛC ...

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.
