MATURE-HEALTH: HEALTH Recommender System for MAndatory FeaTURE choices [PDF]
Balancing electrolytes is utmost important and essential for appropriate functioning of organs in human body as electrolytes imbalance can be an indication of the development of underlying pathophysiology. Efficient monitoring of electrolytes imbalance not only can increase the chances of early detection of disease, but also prevents the further ...

Omnivory can both enhance and dampen perturbations in food webs [PDF]
We investigate how perturbations propagate up and down a food chain with and without self-interaction and omnivory. A source of perturbation is a shift in death rate of a trophic level, and the measure of perturbation is the difference between the perturbed and unperturbed steady state populations.

The power of microRNA regulation—insights into immunity and metabolism
MicroRNAs are emerging as crucial regulators at the intersection of metabolism and immunity. This review examines how miRNAs coordinate glucose and lipid metabolism while simultaneously modulating T‐cell development and immune responses. Moreover, it highlights how cutting‐edge artificial intelligence applications can identify miRNA biomarkers ...

The Saccharomyces cerevisiae amino acid transporter Lyp1 has a broad substrate spectrum
In Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Yeast Amino acid Transporter family members mediate the import of amino acids, ranging from substrate specialists to generalists. Here, we show that the specialist transporter, Lyp1, has a broader substrate spectrum than previously described, with affinity constants spanning from micromolar to millimolar.
