MiR‐513a promotes human erythroid differentiation by modulating c‐Jun

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
During early human erythropoiesis, miR‐513a promoted erythroid differentiation in primary human CD34+ hematopoietic stem‐progenitor cells and human TF‐1 erythroleukemic cells by indirectly decreasing c‐Jun and phospho‐c‐Jun expression, which are associated with increased GATA1 expression.

Granulocyte colony-stimulating factor blockade enables dexamethasone to inhibit lipopolysaccharide-induced murine lung neutrophils. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2017
Glucocorticoids promote neutrophilic inflammation, the mechanisms of which are poorly characterized. Using a lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced acute murine lung injury model, we determined the role of granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) in mouse

Cell Growth Switch transduced G-CSF-mobilized CD34+ cells do not form in vitro erythroid islands.

open access: yes, 2017
Cord blood, bone marrow and G-CSF-mobilized CD34+ cells were expanded using the CGS in the presence of 100 nM AP20187. CD14 monocytes from health donor was added to the G-CSF-mobilized culture.

CSF lactate dehydrogenase activity in patients with Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease exceeds that in other dementias [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
The diagnosis of Creutzfeldt- Jakob disease (CJD) is still made by exclusion of other dementias. We now evaluated lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) as a possible additional diagnostic tool. CSF LDH levels of patients with CJD (

Systemic dysregulation of apolipoproteins in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis serum

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a fatal disease that damages motor neurons. This study found that people with ALS show significant changes in blood fats and the proteins that carry them. Several apolipoproteins were higher, lipid balances were altered, and normal protein–lipid relationships were disrupted.

G-CSF + plerixafor versus G-CSF alone mobilized hematopoietic stem cells in patients with multiple myeloma and lymphoma: a systematic review and meta-analysis. [PDF]

open access: yesAnn Med
The combination of granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) and plerixafor is one of the approaches for hematopoietic stem cell mobilization in patients with multiple myeloma (MM), non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL), and Hodgkin’s lymphoma (HL).

A G-CSF hatásának vizsgálata a tüdődaganatos betegek körében

open access: yes, 2020
Bevezetés: Az onkológiai terápia kapcsán fellépő hematológiai toxicitás egyik lehetséges következménye a keringő neutrofil granulocyták számának csökkenése. A neutropéniás történések legveszélyesebb formája a febrilis neutropénia (továbbiakban FN), amely

Super‐Refractory Status Epilepticus (SRSE) in a Patient With Compound Heterozygous OPA1 Variants: Case Report and Literature Review

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Super‐Refractory Status Epilepticus (SRSE) is a rare, life‐threatening neurological emergency with unclear etiology in many cases. Mitochondrial dysfunction, often due to disease‐causing genetic variants, is increasingly recognized as a cause, with each gene producing distinct pathophysiological mechanisms.

Effect of granulocyte colony-stimulating factor on toxicities after CAR T cell therapy for lymphoma and myeloma

open access: yesBlood Cancer Journal, 2022
Chimeric antigen receptor T cells (CAR T) are groundbreaking therapies but may cause significant toxicities including cytokine release syndrome (CRS), immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity syndrome (ICANS), and cytopenias.

Granulocyte Colony-Stimulating Factor Combined With Transcutaneous Electrical Acupoint Stimulation in Treatment of Unresponsive Thin Endometrium in Frozen Embryo Transfer Cycles

open access: yesFrontiers in Reproductive Health, 2021
Objective: This trial was designed to assess the treatment effects of granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) and transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation (TEAS) on thin endometrium in frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET) cycles. Methods ...
