Genotype x Environment interaction in Mungbean (Vigna radiata (L.) Wilczek) cultivars grown in different agro-climatic zones of Karnataka [PDF]

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Plant Breeding, 2011
Fourteen genotypes were tested at five locations in North-Karnataka in the kharif season-2008 to study their yield stability.Pooled analysis of variance and stability analysis were performed.

Assessment stability and G x E interactions of baby corn hybrids for yield and yield contributing traits

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Plant Breeding
The present study consisted of total 45 hybrids along with 18 parents and 2 checks. These entries were evaluated in randomized block design with three replications over three locations. Observations were recorded on ten characters to study per se performance, estimates genotype × environment interaction and stability parameters.

Screening for lung cancer: A systematic review of overdiagnosis and its implications

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Low‐dose computed tomography (CT) screening for lung cancer may increase overdiagnosis compared to no screening, though the risk is likely low versus chest X‐ray. Our review of 8 trials (84 660 participants) shows added costs. Further research with strict adherence to modern nodule management strategies may help determine the extent to which ...

Spin and temperature dependent study of exchange and correlation in thick two-dimensional electron layers

open access: yes, 2005
The exchange and correlation $E_{xc}$ of strongly correlated electrons in 2D layers of finite width are studied as a function of the density parameter $r_s$, spin-polarization $\zeta$ and the temperature $T$.

Survivin and Aurora Kinase A control cell fate decisions during mitosis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aurora A interacts with survivin during mitosis and regulates its centromeric role. Loss of Aurora A activity mislocalises survivin, the CPC and BubR1, leading to disruption of the spindle checkpoint and triggering premature mitotic exit, which we refer to as ‘mitotic slippage’.

Genotype x Environment interaction for kernel yield in groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L.) [PDF]

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Plant Breeding, 2010
Sixteen medium duration groundnut cultures were evaluated for kernel yield, stability and adaptation across fourenvironments. The G X E interaction was highly significant and both linear and non-linear component are equally importantfor yield stability ...

Reduced vascular leakage correlates with breast carcinoma T regulatory cell infiltration but not with metastatic propensity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A mouse model for vascular normalization and a human breast cancer cohort were studied to understand the relationship between vascular leakage and tumor immune suppression. For this, endothelial and immune cell RNAseq, staining for vascular function, and immune cell profiling were employed.

Analisis Stabilitas Hasil Gabah Galur-galur Padi Melalui Pendekatan Parametrik Dan Nonparametrik [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
The failure of a genotype to perform relatively the same in different environments is defined as the interaction Genotype x Environment (G x E interaction).

Intein‐based modular chimeric antigen receptor platform for specific CD19/CD20 co‐targeting

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CARtein is a modular CAR platform that uses split inteins to splice antigen‐recognition modules onto a universal signaling backbone, enabling precise, scarless assembly without re‐engineering signaling domains. Deployed here against CD19 and CD20 in B‐cell malignancies, the design supports flexible multi‐antigen targeting to boost T‐cell activation and

Unraveling the contribution of G x E x M interactions to maize productivity in Central Mozambique amid climate change

open access: yes
Abstract Maize (Zea mays L.) is the most important cereal staple in sub-Saharan Africa. Yet, smallholders only produce about 20% of what is biophysically possible with agronomic best practices. On-farm researcher- and farmer-managed experiments were conducted in two consecutive cropping seasons in Central Mozambique to disentangle the relative ...
