CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Enhanced colour encoding of materials discrimination information for multiple view dual-energy x-ray imaging

open access: yes, 2009
This thesis reports an investigation into dual-energy X-ray discrimination techniques. These techniques are designed to provide colour-coded materials discrimination information in a sequence of perspective images exhibiting sequential parallax.

Thermodynamics of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer blends [PDF]

open access: yes, 1994
The purpose of this study was to characterise the miscibility of several poly(ethylene-co-vinyl acetate), EVA, based polymer blends. EVA has many industrial applications and is often present as one of several polymeric components.

Stability And G X E Interaction Studies In Mungbean (Vigna Radiata (L.) Wilczek)

open access: yesInternational Journal of Environmental Sciences
The present study was conducted to evaluate the stability of various mungbean (Vigna radiata   L.) genotypes across multiple agronomic traits under varying environmental conditions. Stability analysis was performed for eleven key traits including days to 50% flowering, days to maturity, plant height, number of primary and secondary branches, number of ...

Unraveling the contribution of G x E x M interactions to maize productivity in Central Mozambique amid climate change

open access: yes
Abstract Maize (Zea mays L.) is the most important cereal staple in sub-Saharan Africa. Yet, smallholders only produce about 20% of what is biophysically possible with agronomic best practices. On-farm researcher- and farmer-managed experiments were conducted in two consecutive cropping seasons in Central Mozambique to disentangle the relative ...

G x E Interaction on Yield Stability of Five Sweet Corn Hybrids Grown under Different Agricultural Systems

open access: yesNotulae Botanicae Horti Agrobotanici Cluj-Napoca, 2012
Yield stability in sweet corn and its dependence on G x E interaction were investigated in a series of two way experiments. Five Romanian sweet corn hybrids were tested in three years (2008-2010) in three locations of Central Transylvania in different soils and climatic conditions.

E2A selectively regulates TGF‐β–induced apoptosis in KRAS‐mutant non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Ability to induce apoptosis by TGF‐β is frequently lost in advanced lung adenocarcinoma despite intact TGF‐β signaling. We identify E2A as a mutant KRAS–dependent mediator of resistance to TGF‐β–induced apoptosis. TGF‐β induces E2A via SMAD3 in mutant KRAS cells, and E2A silencing restores apoptosis and enhances radiation response in cell lines ...

Evaluation of phenotypic stability of cassava clones by AMMI analysis in northwestern Paraná state

open access: yesCrop Breeding and Applied Biotechnology, 2006
High yield stability and adaptability of storage root are highly desirable attributes of cassava clones. The objective of this study was therefore to evaluate the effect of the genotype x environment interaction (G x E) and the stability of cassava ...

Stability analysis for yield attributing traits and total alkaloid content in ashwagandha (Withania somnifera L.)

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Plant Breeding
An experiment to study stability of Ashwagandha genotypes was conducted during Kharif 2018-19 at three different environments. High influence of environment was observed as G x E was significant for all the studied traits. Based upon stability parameters,

Heterozygous loss‐of‐function alleles associate the conserved 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease EXOSC10 with hypersensitivity to the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.
