Fluorophores at the peptide C‐terminus reprogram EISA behavior in osteosarcoma cellsshifting ER vs mitochondrial targeting, altering assembly, and tuning cytotoxicity. Abstract Enzyme‐instructed self‐assembly (EISA) of peptides offers a versatile strategy for developing intracellular nanomedicines, yet the role of C‐terminus fluorophores in modulating ...

Galectin-12, a member of the galectin family of animal lectins, is preferentially expressed in adipocytes. We recently reported that this galectin is localized on lipid droplets, specialized organelles for fat storage. Galectin-12 regulates lipid degradation (lipolysis) by modulating lipolytic protein kinase A (PKA) signaling.

T Cell Exhaustion in Hepatocellular Carcinoma: A Substantial Barrier in Immunotherapy
ABSTRACT Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), accounting for over 90% of primary liver cancers, remains a major global challenge for healthcare professionals. While immunotherapy has transformed the landscape of cancer treatment, its success is often limited by immune resistance, particularly through T cell exhaustion which remains a major barrier to ...

ABSTRACT High mobility group box 1 (HMGB1), a prototypical alarmin and chromatin‐binding protein, has emerged as a critical mediator of tumour‐associated inflammation and immune regulation. Although its soluble form has been implicated in various malignancies, the functional contribution of HMGB1 encapsulated within exosomes remains incompletely ...
