Gallic Acid in Ayurvedic Herbs and Formulations
Thirty Ayurvedic herbs and formulations have been screened for the presence of gallic acid by the use of silica gel thin layer chromatography. The samples showing presence of gallic acid in screening by the silica gel thin layer chromatography were ...

Liquid‐phase transmission electron microscopy enables direct observation of nucleation and growth processes in solution. This review is dedicated to the remembrance of Helmut Cölfen and highlights recent studies on complex materials—oxides, biominerals, organic–inorganic crystals—which were central to his research activity. It summarizes key milestones,

We present a tissue‐stimulator platform for seamless electrode integration with pancreatic tissue, applying uniform electrical stimulation through optimized design with biohybrid 3D printing. Advantageous effects of electrical stimulation on β‐cell function were observed, including enhanced calcium signaling, islet morphology, and maturation.

Flexible piezoresistive pressure sensors underpin wearable and soft electronics. This review links sensing physics, including contact resistance modulation, quantum tunneling and percolation, to unified materials/structure design. We highlight composite and graded architectures, interfacial/porous engineering, and microstructured 3D conductive networks

A Non‐Reciprocal Architected Porous Medium
ABSTRACT In several fluid flow, energy‐dumping, and energy‐harvesting applications, a dominant flow direction or dominant resistance direction is desirable. In this study, we propose a simple modular geometry that doubles flow resistance in one direction relative to the opposite direction, while maintaining laminar viscous flow.

Mechanism of α-Amylase Inhibition by Gallic Acid
To investigate the inhibitory properties of gallic acid on α-amylase, the inhibitory effect and mechanism of gallic acid on α-amylase were studied by means of inhibition rate, ultraviolet (UV) spectrum, fluorescence spectrum and molecular docking ...

Tuning Separator Chemistry: Improving Zn Anode Compatibility via Functionalized Chitin Nanofibers
Nanochitin derived from waste shrimp shells is used to fabricate separators for aqueous zinc batteries. By tuning the density of amine and carboxylic surface groups, water mobility at the separator interface is controlled, promoting uniform zinc deposition, suppressing dendrite growth, and enabling exceptional cycling stability exceeding 2000 h ...

Gallic Acid: Inhibiting Angiogenesis in Adipose Tissue
Angiogenesis is the process of developing and elongating blood vessels. In obesity, angiogenesis controls the development of the adipose tissue, allowing it to expand as energy stores increase.
