Phase Diagrams and Piezoelectric Properties of Wurtzite Al1−x−yScxGdyN Heterostructural Alloys
This study demonstrates ferroelectricity and piezoelectric properties improvement of quaternary wurtzite Al1−x−yScxGdyN${\rm Al}_{1-x-y}{\rm Sc}_x{\rm Gd}_y{\rm N}$ films, guided by density functional theory calculations. Wurtzite Al1−x−yScxGdyN${\rm Al}_{1-x-y}{\rm Sc}_x{\rm Gd}_y{\rm N}$ films have a high optical bandgap, enhanced piezoelectric ...

We developed an implantable dual‐drug depot using GelMA for bone metastasis treatment, co‐delivering MSA‐2 and αB7‐H3‐loaded CaCO3 microparticles. Sustained release from GelMA scaffold enables MSA‐2 to activate STING signaling and enhance T‐cell infiltration and activation, while sequentially released αB7‐H3 blocks MSA‐2‐induced B7‐H3 upregulation ...

Gamma delta (gamma delta) T cells are among the least understood components of the immune system. While these cells appear to contribute uniquely to host immune competence, defining their functions in the context of host biology and pathology has been difficult.

Abstract Protection from exogenous invaders and elimination of endogenous aberrations are the main contributions of T cells to homeostasis. T cells with Vγ9Vδ2-encoded T-cell receptors (TCRs) have a unique ability to interact with a plethora of phosphoantigens in a major histocompatibility complex (MHC)-unrestricted manner. The biological function of

Hepatosplenic gamma-delta T-cell lymphoma
Critical Reviews in Oncology/Hematology, 2012Hepatosplenic T-cell lymphoma (HSTL) is a rare and aggressive extranodal lymphoma derived mostly from cytotoxic γδ T-cells. The peak incidence is in adolescents and young adults, and is more common in males. Up to 20% of HSTL arise in the setting of chronic immune suppression, most commonly solid organ transplantation or prolonged antigenic stimulation.

Bovine gamma delta T cells and the function of gamma delta T cell specific WC1 co-receptors
Cellular Immunology, 2015The study of γδ T cells in ruminants dates to the discovery of the γδ TCR in humans and mice. It is important since cattle offer an alternative model to the mouse for evaluating the role of γδ T cells in zoonotic disease research and for control of disease reservoirs in non-human animals.

Gamma Delta T Cell Function in Ruminants
Veterinary Clinics of North America: Food Animal Practice, 2019Gamma delta (γδ) T cells constitute a major lymphocyte population in peripheral blood and epithelial surfaces. They play nonredundant roles in host defense against diverse pathogens. Although γδ T cells share functional features with other cells of the immune system, their distinct methods of antigen recognition, rapid response, and tissue tropism make

Peptide antigens for gamma/delta T cells
Cellular and Molecular Life Sciences, 2011γδ T cells express adaptive antigen receptors encoded by rearranging genes. Their diversity is highest in the small region of TCR V-J junctions, especially in the δ chain, which should enable the γδ TCRs to distinguish differences in small epitopes.
