Cardamonin upregulate sd the intestinal metabolite columbianetin acetate, which competitively bound HMGB1 to prevent LPS‐induced renal tubular cell pyroptosis (the figure is created with BioRender). ABSTRACT Sepsis‐associated acute kidney injury (SA‐AKI) results in high mortality due to the lack of effective interventions. The current study reports the

Dihydromyricetin Regulates PANoptosis to Protect Salmonella Typhimurium‐Infected Weaned Piglets
After DHM pretreatment, piglets were subjected to Salmonella infection. Serum and ileocecal samples from the piglets were collected for TUNEL assay, Western blotting analysis, and metabolomics analysis. The results collectively indicated that DHM could protect piglets from Salmonella infection.

Purple sweet potato polysaccharide (PSP) ameliorates lipopolysaccharide‐induced ulcerative colitis in mice through multiple coordinated mechanisms. Oral PSP administration dose‐dependently: (1) Modulates gut microbiota composition and increases short‐chain fatty acid levels; (2) strengthens intestinal barrier function; (3) attenuates systemic ...

Characterization of Novel Pathogenic Variants Leading to Caspase-8 Cleavage-Resistant RIPK1-Induced Autoinflammatory Syndrome [PDF]
Pathogenic RIPK1 variants have been described as the cause of two different inborn errors of immunity. Biallelic loss-of-function variants cause the recessively inherited RIPK1 deficiency, while monoallelic variants impairing the caspase-8-mediated RIPK1

Extracellular Vesicles‐Functionalized Biomaterials for Oral Disease Theragnostics
Combining EVs with biomaterials enables sustained, targeted delivery and overcomes traditional limitations. EVs show great promise in diagnosing and treating oral diseases, and could transform oral health management strategies. ABSTRACT Oral diseases impair oral function and are closely linked to various systemic conditions.

The NLRP3 Inflammasome: Mechanisms of Activation, Regulation, and Therapeutic Opportunities
Diverse diseases converge on NLRP3. We depict a discovery‐to‐clinic track: high‐throughput/phenotypic screens, structure‐guided design, and modality innovation (allosteric inhibitors, interface blockers, degraders) deliver third‐generation, disease‐tailored NLRP3 control.

Does pyroptotic cell death contribute to anthracycline-induced cardiotoxicity? [PDF]
Background: Anthracyclines are widely used as effective chemotherapeutic agents. However, research has found that anthracycline-induced cardiotoxicity (AIC) causes significant morbidity and mortality.

ABSTRACT Influenza pneumonia is characterized by excessive inflammatory responses that contribute to severe lung injury and mortality. Supersulfides, endogenously produced cysteine‐derived persulfides and polysulfides, exert potent antioxidant, anti‐ferroptotic, and anti‐inflammatory activities; however, their therapeutic potential after disease onset ...
