Association of GATA3 expression in triple-positive breast cancer with overall survival and immune cell infiltration

open access: yesScientific Reports
Breast cancer remains a leading cause of cancer-related mortality among women, with triple-positive breast cancer (TPBC) being a particularly aggressive subtype. GATA binding protein 3 (GATA3) plays a crucial role in the luminal differentiation of breast

Gata3 directly regulates early inner ear expression of Fgf10

open access: yesDevelopmental Biology, 2013
The analysis of Fgf10 mouse mutants has demonstrated a critical role for this ligand in neurosensory development of the vertebrate inner ear, and we have been looking to define the direct upstream regulators of Fgf10 in this sensory organ, as part of constructing the programme of early inner ear development.

Protective Role for Itaconate During Inhaled Allergen Challenge

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
Itaconate levels decrease in sputum following allergen inhalation in mild asthmatics, suggesting a dynamic metabolic response to airway challenge. Genetic deletion of Acod1 in mice did not alter airway inflammation or remodelling in response to chronic HDM exposure.

PU.1 Suppresses Th2 Cytokine Expression via Silencing of GATA3 Transcription in Dendritic Cells.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2015
The transcription factor PU.1 is predominantly expressed in dendritic cells (DCs) and is essential for DC differentiation. Although there are several reports that PU.1 positively regulates the expression of DC-specific genes, whether PU.1 also has a ...

Characterization of Human Group 9 Innate Lymphoid Cells in Response to Allergen Immunotherapy in Patients With Allergic Rhinitis

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
We aimed to report the existence and profile of group 9 innate lymphoid cells (ILC9s). Overall, ILC9 proportions in AR patients show differences compared to healthy subjects and responder SCIT patients. IL‐9 expression decreases after siRNA inhibition of Bach2 suggesting Bach2 could display as a transcription factor of ILC9.

Update on Non‐Biological and RNA‐Based Therapeutics in Chronic Inflammatory Diseases: Precision Medicine Through Small Molecules: An EAACI Position Paper

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In the last decades, critical advancements in research technology and knowledge on disease mechanisms steered therapeutic approaches for chronic inflammatory diseases towards unprecedented target specificity. For allergic and chronic lung diseases, biologic drugs pioneered this goal, acquiring on the way—through the clinical use of monoclonal ...

Tissue signals imprint ILC2 identity with anticipatory function. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Group 2 innate lymphoid cells (ILC2s) are distributed systemically and produce type 2 cytokines in response to a variety of stimuli, including the epithelial cytokines interleukin (IL)-25, IL-33, and thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP).

A luminal non‐coding RNA‐based genomic classifier confirms favourable outcomes in patients with clinically organ‐confined bladder cancer treated with radical cystectomy

open access: yesBJU International, Volume 135, Issue 4, Page 648-656, April 2025.
Objective To further evaluate a genomic classifier (GC) in a cohort of patients undergoing radical cystectomy (RC), as long non‐coding RNA (lncRNA)‐based genomic profiling has suggested utility in identifying a distinct tumour subgroup corresponding to a favourable prognosis in patients with bladder cancer.

Juvenile idiopathic arthritis associated with a mutation in GATA3

open access: yesArthritis Research & Therapy, 2019
Background GATA3 is a transcription factor that is important during development and plays a role in differentiation and activity of immune cells, particularly T cells. Abnormal T cell function is found in autoimmune arthritis.

Regulatory network of GATA3 in pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia

open access: yesOncotarget, 2017
GATA3 polymorphisms were reported to be significantly associated with susceptibility of pediatric B-lineage acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), by impacting on GATA3 expression. We noticed that ALL-related GATA3 polymorphism located around in the tissue-specific enhancer, and significantly associated with GATA3 expression.
