Characterization and optimization of gate driver turn-off voltage for eGaN HEMTs in a phase-leg configuration

open access: yesEnergy Reports, 2022
Affected by high switching speed and parasitic parameters, crosstalk problem of eGaN HEMT in a phase-leg configuration cannot be ignored. By decreasing gate driver turn-off voltage, the false turn-on phenomenon of device caused by crosstalk can be ...

Design of a Gate-Driving Cell for Enabling Extended SiC MOSFET Voltage Blocking

open access: yesEnergies, 2022
A series connection of SiC MOSFETs for kV blocking capability can enable more design flexibility in modular multi-level converters as well as other topologies. In this paper, a novel gate driver circuit capable of driving series-connected SiC MOSFETs for

IGZO TFT Gate Driver Circuit With Improved Output Pulse

open access: yesIEEE Journal of the Electron Devices Society, 2019
We propose a new gate driver circuit with an improved output pulse using depletion mode amorphous indium gallium zinc oxide thin film transistors. The previous reported gate driver circuit of our group has a weak point. It is that the peak voltage of the

New Driving Structure to Increase Pixel Charging Ratio for UHD TFT-LCDs With High Frame Rate

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022
This paper proposes a new driving structure of the thin-film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) that can yield a high image quality with a reduction in the number of source driver ICs for use in narrow-bezel notebook displays with ultra-high ...

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Amorphous IGZO Thin-Film Transistor Gate Driver in Array for Ultra-Narrow Border Displays

open access: yesIEEE Journal of the Electron Devices Society, 2022
A gate driver in array (GIA) design based on the amorphous indium gallium zinc oxide (a-IGZO) thin-film transistor (TFT) is developed for narrow border displays.

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...

Thermal Stability of Gate Driver Circuits Based on 4H-SiC MOSFETs at 300°C for High-Power Applications

open access: yesIEEE Journal of the Electron Devices Society
The operation and reliability of gate driver circuits based on 4H-SiC MOSFETs at temperatures up to 300°C were reported. Due to the advantages of 4H-SiC MOSFETs, the driver circuit can overcome limitations in complicated circuit design and power ...
