Self‐Sintering Ionogel Binder for Flexible, Recyclable, and Healable Printed Giant Magnetoresistive Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Electronic waste has emerged as a major environmental challenge, driven by the massive consumption and a limited lifetime of modern electronic devices, stimulating the development of sustainable electronics. Here, an all‐biomaterial gelatin‐choline‐citric acid ([Ch][CA]) ionogel is developed as an active binder to realize self‐sintered ...

Tough Injectable Hydrogels Enabled by Integrating Rigid Homogeneous Framework With Flexible Chains

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Tough injectable hydrogels are constructed by integrating a rigid, homogeneous hyaluronic acid framework with flexible long‐chain connectors. This framework–flexible structure simultaneously enhances network uniformity and promotes effective energy dissipation by enlarging plastic deformation zones under compression.

Tissue‐Stimulator Platform for Electrically Stimulating Pancreatic β‐Cells for Long‐Term Functional Regulation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We present a tissue‐stimulator platform for seamless electrode integration with pancreatic tissue, applying uniform electrical stimulation through optimized design with biohybrid 3D printing. Advantageous effects of electrical stimulation on β‐cell function were observed, including enhanced calcium signaling, islet morphology, and maturation.

The Strength of the Japanese Agar-Agar Gel. III Effect of washing gel

open access: yesNIPPON SUISAN GAKKAISHI, 1950
Recently in the process of the agar manufacture, sometimes it is necessary to wash the agar gel. The three ways of processing agar gel got from the same boiling have been here discussed. The processes are as follows: (1) The agar gel is frozen, thawed with water, centrifuged, air-dried with fan, and thus is made to the agar. (2) The agar gel is frozen,
