CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

The solution of the order conditions for general linear methods [PDF]

open access: yes, 1978
The introductory chapter in this thesis examines briefly the nature of initial value problems and surveys the main types of methods used for their numerical solution. The general linear formulation of methods, first proposed by J. C.

Construction of extended exponential general linear methods 524 for solving semi-linear problems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
This paper introduces a new approach for constructing higher order of EEGLM which have become very popular and novel due to its enviable stability properties.

Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

General linear methods with inherent Runge-Kutta stability [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
General linear methods were derived approximately thirty years ago as a unifying approach for the study of consistency, stability and convergence of the Runge-Kutta and the linear multistep methods.

Error propagation of general linear methods for ordinary differential equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
We discuss error propagation for general linear methods for ordinary differential equations up to terms of order p+2, where p is the order of the method. These results are then applied to the estimation of local discretization errors for methods of order

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

A semi-analytical model for deflection analysis of laminated plates with the Newton-Kantorovich-Quadrature method

open access: yesMaterials Research, 2012
A semi-analytical approach for analysis of laminated plates with general boundary conditions under a general distribution of loads is developed. The non-linear equations are solved by the Newton-Kantorovich-Quadrature (NKQ) method which is a combination ...

DNA methylation and expression of MAPRE3 affect overall survival of early‐stage non‐small cell lung cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Both cg12821679MAPRE3 methylation and MAPRE3 expression are significantly associated with overall survival (OS) of non‐small cell lung cancer. Meanwhile, MAPRE3 expression significantly modified the effect of smoking cessation on OS. Smoking cessation benefits OS merely for patients with high MAPRE3 expression.

Corrosion behavior of high- and low-chromium steel grinding balls in chloride solution

open access: yesZaštita Materijala
The corrosion behaviour of three types of alloys (two low-alloy carbon steel and one stainless iron with ~15 wt.% Cr), in a solution which simulates seawater (3% NaCl solution, pH 8.1) was tested.
