Myc target genes

Trends in Biochemical Sciences, 1997
The myc family of proto-oncogenes belongs to the basic helix-loop-helix leucine-zipper (bHLHZ) class of transcription factors. Myc proteins function as transcriptional activators through heterodimerization with Max, but might also act as negative regulators of transcription.

The c-Myc target gene network

Seminars in Cancer Biology, 2006
For more than a decade, numerous studies have suggested that the c-Myc oncogenic protein is likely to broadly influence the composition of the transcriptome. However, the evidence required to support this notion was made available only recently, much to the anticipation of an eagerly awaiting field.

Expression Profiles of MYC Protein and MYC Gene Rearrangement in Lymphomas

American Journal of Surgical Pathology, 2015
MYC translocations are a defining feature of Burkitt lymphoma and a group of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) with inferior outcome. However, the clinical relevance of MYC gene rearrangement and its relationship with MYC protein expression has not been well characterized in lymphomas.
