Bioenergy Cropping Reduces the Spatiotemporal Scaling of Soil Bacterial Biodiversity
Consistent with patterns observed in plant and animal communities, soil bacterial communities exhibit significant species–time–area and phylogenetic–time–area relationships independent of nested structure. Bioenergy cropping significantly reduces the spatiotemporal scaling rates, particularly in sandy loam soils.

Nucleolar dominance: a model for rRNA gene silencing [PDF]
Research over the last decade has demonstrated that the regulated packaging of DNA into chromatin is fundamental to keeping genes in an active/open or a more condensed/inactive conformation. Nucleosomes, the basic repeating unit of chromatin, contain two molecules each of canonical histones, H2A, H2B, H3, and H4.

Grancalcin (GCA), a myeloid‐derived protein, is enriched in gingival tissues of periodontitis patients and mouse models. Through interactions with CD44 and activation of MYH9, GCA promotes NF‐κB signaling and exacerbates periodontal inflammation and bone loss.

Model of circNrip1 (cNrip1) upregulation driving neuropathic pain mechanisms. After peripheral nerve injury, increased FUS triggers the formation and upregulation of cNrip1 in injured DRG neurons. Upregulated cNrip1 recruits SYNCRIP to the 3′‐UTR of Tlr2 mRNA by binding to both, thereby promoting SYNCRIP‐triggered Tlr2 mRNA stability and increasing ...

Diversity of Unusual Ribosomal Genes and Ecological Origin of Rice (Oryza spp.)
Tandemly organized rRNA genes are a typical example of a multigene family, where individual members evolve co-ordinately within—but independently between—species due to gene conversion and unequal crossing over.

Icariin promoted the growth of Akk by enhancing the activity of N‐acetylgalactosaminidase (Amuc_0920), which enhanced mucin utilization and provided a favorable nutrient environment for bacterial growth. This icariin‐mediated enrichment of Akk further reshaped the tumor microenvironment and promoted CD8+ T cell infiltration, ultimately synergizing with

This work establishes that ac4C modification on lncRNA Gm26917 governs its spatial interactions with Rpl10 mRNA, and RBP EEF1A1 mediates the interaction between Gm26917 and Rpl10. It elucidates a novel ac4C‐Gm26917‐EEF1A1‐Rpl10 axis in FGSC maintenance both in vitro and in vivo, and provides a potential molecular target for modulating germ cell ...
