Zur Genotyp-Umwelt-Interaktion von Fleischqualitätsmerkmalen bei unterschiedlichen Genotypen in ökologischer und konventioneller Schweinemast [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Seven different pig breeds were kept under conventional and under organic feeding and housing conditions on two performance testing stations to analyse genotype-environment interactions for meat quality traits.

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

Assessment of Stability and Adaptability of Wheat–Wheatgrass Hybrids Using AMMI Models

open access: yesAgronomy
Against the backdrop of growing climatic variability, the identification of genotypes combining high yield with stability and resilience to stress factors has become a central objective of contemporary wheat breeding.

Integrating a growth degree-days based reaction norm methodology and multi-trait modeling for genomic prediction in wheat

open access: yesFrontiers in Plant Science, 2022
Multi-trait and multi-environment analyses can improve genomic prediction by exploiting between-trait correlations and genotype-by-environment interactions.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Genotype by environment interaction and yield stability in sugarcane

open access: yesRevista Facultad Nacional de Agronomía Medellín, 2017
Genotype by environment interaction (GEI) reduces the association between phenotype and genotype which result in relative ranking and stability differences of genotypes across environment.

Colorectal cancer‐derived FGF19 is a metabolically active serum biomarker that exerts enteroendocrine effects on mouse liver

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Meta‐transcriptome analysis identified FGF19 as a peptide enteroendocrine hormone associated with colorectal cancer prognosis. In vivo xenograft models showed release of FGF19 into the blood at levels that correlated with tumor volumes. Tumoral‐FGF19 altered murine liver metabolism through FGFR4, thereby reducing bile acid synthesis and increasing ...

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Multi-environments Evaluation of Zn and Fe Enhanced Bread Wheat Genotypes in Optimum Areas of Ethiopia

open access: yesInternational Journal of Bio-Resource and Stress Management
A multi-location experiment was conducted during June, 2020–October, 2021 under rainfed condition at Kulumsa, Asasa, Adet, Holeta, and Sinana Research centers, Ethiopia to evaluate the genotype-by-environment interaction effect and grain yield stability

Effect of genotype interaction by environment on quality traits in Brachiaria hybrids population Br12 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
We aim to understand the magnitude of the interaction genotype by environment over several important traits, including those associated with nutritional quality, in a population of 100 hybrids of interspecific Brachiaria.
