Analysis of nucleotide diversity in Coffea spp. (W153) [PDF]
Marker-assisted selection becomes a reality for many crops; in perennial crops, the utilization of molecular markers in breeding programs can speed up genotype selection. However, the most important commercial coffee species - allotetraploid C. arabica -

Prioritizing animals for dense genotyping in order to impute missing genotypes of sparsely genotyped animals [PDF]
Genotyping accounts for a substantial part of the cost of genomic selection (GS). Using both dense and sparse SNP chips, together with imputation of missing genotypes, can reduce these costs. The aim of this study was to identify the set of candidates that are most important for dense genotyping, when they are used to impute the genotypes of sparsely ...

From omics to AI—mapping the pathogenic pathways in type 2 diabetes
Integrating multi‐omics data with AI‐based modelling (unsupervised and supervised machine learning) identify optimal patient clusters, informing AI‐driven accurate risk stratification. Digital twins simulate individual trajectories in real time, guiding precision medicine by matching patients to targeted therapies.

Neutrophil deficiency increases T cell numbers at the site of tissue injury in mice
In wild‐type mice, injury or acute inflammation induces neutrophil influx followed by macrophage accumulation. Mcl1ΔMyelo (neutrophil‐deficient) mice lack neutrophils, and in response to muscle injury show fewer macrophages and exhibit strikingly elevated T‐cell numbers, primarily non‐conventional “double‐negative” (DN) αβ and γδ T cells.

Functional compounds of einkorn and emmer genotypes [PDF]
Three einkorn and two emmer genotypes were analysed for concentration of microelements (Fe, Zn and Se) and lipid soluble antioxidants (α-tocopherol, α-tocotrienol and β-carotene).
