Aquaculture, 1990 A glycoproteic gonadotropin (GtH) was partially isolated from pituitaries of sexually mature Sparus aurata and used for the development of its radioimmunoassay (RIA). Two major chromatographic steps were used for the isolation of the GtH: affinity chromatography on Concanavalin A-Sepharose and gel filtration on Ultrogel ACA-54.

Rapid Quantification of Fatty Acids in Fish Eggs Through Raman Spectroscopy
Journal of Raman Spectroscopy, EarlyView.Omega‐3 fatty acids (FAs) are important indicators for egg quality. This study uses Raman spectroscopy coupled with chemometrics to develop a rapid and in situ method for predicting FA composition in fish eggs. These findings offer a practical and cost‐effective method for assessing egg FA profiles in aquaculture hatcheries.
