Global Existence and Boundedness of Solutions to a Second-Order Nonlinear Differential System

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2012
We investigate the global existence and boundedness of solutions to a second-order nonlinear differential system.

Uniform boundedness and extinction results of solutions to a predator–prey system

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2020
Global existence, positivity, uniform boundedness and extinction results of solutions to a system of reaction-diffusion equations on unbounded domain modeling two species on a predator–prey relationship is considered.

Yorke and Wright 3/2-stability theorems from a unified point of view [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
We consider a family of scalar delay differential equations $x'(t)=f(t,x_t)$, with a nonlinearity $f$ satisfying a negative feedback condition combined with a boundedness condition.

Biophysical analysis of angiotensin II and amyloid‐β cross‐interaction in aggregation and membrane disruption

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Angiotensin II (AngII), a neuropeptide, interacts with amyloid‐β (Aβ), a key player in Alzheimer's disease. This study reveals that AngII reduces Aβ aggregation and membrane disruption in vitro. Biophysical assays and molecular modeling suggest AngII binds disordered Aβ forms, potentially modulating early amyloidogenic events and contributing to ...

The role of fibroblast growth factors in cell and cancer metabolism

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fibroblast growth factor (FGF) signaling regulates crucial signaling cascades that promote cell proliferation, survival, and metabolism. Therefore, FGFs and their receptors are often dysregulated in human diseases, including cancer, to sustain proliferation and rewire metabolism.

Global Dynamics, Boundedness, and Semicycle Analysis of a Difference Equation

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2021
In this paper, we explore local stability, attractor, periodicity character, and boundedness solutions of the second-order nonlinear difference equation. Finally, obtained results are verified numerically.

Global boundedness of solutions in a reaction–diffusion system of Beddington–DeAngelis-type predator–prey model with nonlinear prey-taxis and random diffusion

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems, 2018
In this paper, a reaction–diffusion system of a predator–prey model with Beddington–DeAngelis functional response is considered. This model describes a prey-taxis mechanism that is an immediate movement of the predator u in response to a change of the ...

Boundedness of Global Solutions for a Heat Equation with Exponential Gradient Source [PDF]

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2011
We consider a one‐dimensional semilinear parabolic equation with exponential gradient source and provide a complete classification of large time behavior of the classical solutions: either the space derivative of the solution blows up in finite time with the solution itself remaining bounded or the solution is global and converges in C1 norm to the ...

The anti‐CRISPR protein AcrIE8.1 inhibits the type I‐E CRISPR‐Cas system by directly binding to the Cascade subunit Cas11

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we present the structure of AcrIE8.1, a previously uncharacterized anti‐CRISPR protein that inhibits the type I‐E CRISPR‐Cas system. Through a combination of structural and biochemical analyses, we demonstrate that AcrIE8.1 directly binds to the Cas11 subunit of the Cascade complex to inhibit the CRISPR‐Cas system.

The Global Existence of Solutions in Time for a Chemotaxis Model with Two Chemicals

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2014
This paper concerns the uniform boundedness and global existence of solutions in time for the chemotaxis model with two chemicals. We prove the system has global existence of solutions in time for any dimension n.
