This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Many patients with urothelial cancer do not benefit from treatment with pembrolizumab, while at risk of severe side effects. Changes in the levels of circulating tumor DNA early during treatment, measured by a simple and affordable assay that can be easily implemented in the clinic, can be used as a prognostic tool to identify these patients.

A note on sufficient global optimality conditions for fixed charge quadratic programs
In this work we establish conditions for a feasible point to be a global minimizer of a fixed charge quadratic model program. This program has a wide variety of classic applications, for instance, in facility location, scheduling and portfolio selection.

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...

On the Optimal Policies of Time-Inhomogeneous Unreliable Service Systems
This paper investigates the optimal dynamic policies of time-inhomogeneous unreliable multi-server queueing systems with multiple customer sources and differentiated maintenance speeds. Under the criterion of global revenue optimality, we first elaborate

Global optimality conditions for mixed integer weakly concave programming problems
In this paper, some necessary and some suffcient global optimality conditions for a class of mixed integer programming problems whose objective functions are the difference of quadratic functions and convex functions are established.

Liquid biopsy‐based diagnostic evaluation of hypermethylated CpG sites for ovarian cancer diagnosis
This schematic outlines the workflow from biomarker identification to duplex MethyLight assay validation for epithelial ovarian cancer diagnosis using cfDNA‐based liquid biopsy. Initial screening of hypermethylated CpG candidates (cg02957270, cg10061138 cg00480298, COL2A1) was performed in tissue using ARMS‐PCR, COBRA, qPCR and image analysis. Selected

Safety Control with Adaptive Safety Sets and Belief Dynamics for LAV Under Uncertainty
This paper presents a novel safety control framework for Loitering Aerial Vehicles (LAVs) operating under non-Gaussian measurement uncertainty. The approach integrates variational inference-based belief dynamics with adaptive buffered half-space ...
