rDNA units are highly polymorphic in Scutellospora castanea (Glomales, Zygomycetes)

Gene, 1999
The ribosomal DNA (rDNA) units in the glomalean zygomycete fungus Scutellospora castanea were analyzed. Dot-blot assays allowed an estimation of 75 copies per genome. After constructing a genomic library in a phage lambdaEMBL3 vector, 13 rDNA clones were screened and explored.

Nuclear DNA content of 11 fungal species in Glomales

Genome, 1998
The nuclear DNA content of 11 species of Glomales was evaluated by flow cytometry after DAPI staining relative to Gigaspora margarita, which was used as internal standard. The nuclear DNA content of this species was calibrated by propidium iodide staining relative to chicken red blood cells. A correction was applied when the difference in AT content of

[Radiologic surveillance of irradiated glomal tumors].

Journal de radiologie, 1986
A favorable clinical result was obtained in 10 patients with jugular glomal tumors treated by external radiotherapy (approximately 50 Gy), alone or combined with surgical treatment, and preceded in some cases by embolization. Radiologic review examinations showed complete stability of lesions without bone reconstruction phenomena, in spite of a ...

[Differential diagnosis of glomus and glomal stomach tumors].

Voprosy onkologii, 1978
Two cases of glomangiomas of the stomach are described in detail. Moreover 8 cases of mixed glomus tumors of the stomach were clinically observed, one of them being previously described. The analysis of clinico-radiological and morphological features of these diseases, based both on the personal authors' and literature material enabled the conclusion ...

Arbuscular fungi and mycorrhizae (Glomales) of the Hel Peninsula, Poland

Mycorrhiza, 1994
In the years 1985–1989, the occurrence of arbuscular fungi and mycorrhizae on the Hel Peninsula (Poland) was investigated with the help of 45 soil and root samples collected under 20 plant species of eight families. Except for Zea mays, the other plant species were from uncultivated sites. All soil samples contained spores of arbuscular fungi, of which
