Decreased Glucose transporter 4 (GLUT4) expression leads to abnormal glucose regulation. miR-93 regulates GLUT4 expression and studies have shown that, ginkgolide mediates miR-93 and GLUT4 in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). 50 patients with PCOS and 50 healthy women were recruited.
