A modular antimicrobial‐peptide‐based therapeutic system integrating membrane‐targeted selectivity, a conformation‐driven polyethylene glycolylated blocker, and serum‐stabilizing N‐cap is developed. The optimized conjugate 270 shows potent, rapid killing of the desired tumor cells, high serum stability, low off‐target toxicity, and broad applicability,

An integrated nanoparticle PEDOT@PMOF is constructed as a redox‐active nanozyme and electroactive nanofiller in a cell‐affinity hydrogel platform for acute MI treatment. It is demonstrated that MOF‐based nanozymes have good catalytic ability, and the incorporation of PEDOT increases the conductivity.

Painting Peptides With Antimicrobial Potency Through Deep Reinforcement Learning
AMPainter is a powerful design model for ’painting’ the antimicrobial potency on any given peptide sequence, based on the strategy of virtual directed evolution and deep reinforcement learning. Abstract In the post‐antibiotic era, antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) are considered ideal drug candidates because of their lower likelihood of inducing resistance.

It is well known that biotin has a marked effect on l-glutamic acid fermentation. The authors have intended to find strains which are independent of the amounts of biotin in the culture medium. As a result, oleic acid-requiring mutants were obtained from a strain of Brevibacterium thiogenitalis which is an auxotroph for biotin.
